Grouse Mountain Day Trip
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll set off north toward the mountains located just outside the city, crossing the legendary Lions Gate Bridge.
Our first stop will be at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you'll cross the longest footbridge in the world above an old-growth cedar forest and the Capilano River. During our visit, we'll appreciate the natural surroundings, view First Nations artwork, and experience the Cliffwalk attraction.
Next, we will visit the Capilano Salmon Hatchery at the river bank. Here, we will learn about various salmon species in this region of Canada and the challenges they face in reproduction. We will observe hatching and young fish before their release into a nearby river.
Our next stop is Grouse Mountain, where we'll take the cable car up to the peak. At the top, you can explore the Wildlife Refuge, view chainsaw carvings, and learn about local wildlife at the Theatre in the Sky.
After enjoying the forest landscapes, we will return to your hotel, concluding the tour after a total of 6.5 hours.
