Get outside, breathe in the fresh Pacific air, and immerse yourself in the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver. On this day trip, we'll visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, and Grouse Mountain.

Grouse Mountain Day Trip

After picking you up at your hotel, we'll set off northbound toward the mountains just outside the city. We'll cross the Lions Gate Bridge and enjoy the scenic drive.

Our first stop will be at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Here, you can cross the longest footbridge in the world. As you walk across, you'll be above an old-growth cedar forest and the Capilano River. During our visit, we'll admire the surroundings, view First Nations artwork, and experience the Cliffwalk attraction.

Next, we'll visit a salmon hatchery on the river bank. We'll learn about the different species of salmon in this region of Canada and discover their reproduction challenges. You'll see hatching and young fish before they are released into a nearby river.

Our next stop will be Grouse Mountain, where we’ll take the cable car up to the peak. Experience changing views as the Skyride carries us upwards. At the top, you can explore the Wildlife Refuge, see chainsaw carvings, and learn about local wildlife at the Theatre in the Sky.

After enjoying the forest landscapes, we'll return to your hotel, completing the tour in a total of 6.5 hours.
