Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your selected pickup point in Vancouver and head to the harbor to catch the ferry to Victoria. During the journey, we'll view the Gulf Islands and enjoy the fresh ocean air. Alternatively, onboard dining options will be available.
Upon arrival at Victoria's Inner Harbour, we'll walk along Government Street to the Chinatown district, Canada’s oldest. Here, we will explore Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest shopping street in North America, and learn about its origin.
Next, we’ll visit the Butchart Gardens, known for nearly 900 different species of plants. The gardens are noted for their vibrant colors and the styles of Italian and Japanese gardens.
We will also stop at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, an iconic waterfront hotel designed by Francis Rattenbury and designated a National Historic Site of Canada.
To conclude, we’ll visit the Parliament of British Columbia and then take the ferry back to Vancouver, returning to the pickup point after a total of 13 hours.
