We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:30 am to begin our private tour of São Jorge. Our first stop will be at Parque Forestal das Sete Fuentes, a natural area filled with cypress trees, pine trees, cryptomerias, and sequoias.

Inside the park, we will visit Ponta dos Rosais, a cape of volcanic origin home to birds such as the common tern and the cory. Next, we will stop at the Fajã de João Dias viewpoint to see the coastline.

We will learn about the production of São Jorge cheese at the Beira Cheese Factory, where a tasting will take place. Around 12 pm, we will have a buffet lunch at a traditional restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit the church of Santa Barbara, known for its 18th-century tile mosaic, and stop at Casa do Parque, a museum focused on the Azores' geology.

The tour will continue to Fajã do Ouvidor and the natural pool Simão Dias, where snorkeling may occur if weather permits. We will observe the contrasting landscapes at Fajã dos Cubres, Caldeira Santo Cristo, and Fajã dos Vimes, known for its coffee plantations.

Finally, we will reach Ponta do Topo, the historic site where early settlers arrived. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel at 5:30 pm.
