Description

When booking, choose between three options to snorkel in Sao Jorge. All include pickup, transport, an English-speaking guide, and snorkeling equipment. Details of each option:

Snorkeling in the Simão Dias Natural Pool (4 hours)

We'll set out for the Fajã de Ouvidor viewpoint for views of the northern coast of Sao Jorge, then head down to snorkeling in the Simão Dias natural pool. In the water, you'll see species such as turtles and tuna. After 1.5 hours of diving, you'll have time to explore on your own before returning to the collection point.

Snorkeling in Urzelina (4 hours)

After pickup, we'll go to Urzelina to snorkel in the southern part of Sao Jorge. You'll embark on a 1.5-hour tour to see volcanic basalt rocks, cavities in the cliffs, and schools of fish, possibly spotting dolphins. Afterwards, enjoy free time to eat and relax before concluding the activity.

Snorkeling in Sao Jorge (4 hours)

This option includes snorkeling at various locations. We'll stop at the Fajã de Ouvidor viewpoint to appreciate the Atlantic, then arrive at the Simão Dias natural pool to explore its bottom. You'll have the chance to jump into the water. Next, we’ll head to Fajã de Santo Amaro beach to snorkel and encounter species like white marlins and manta rays, and you can approach a WWII shipwreck in Urzelina.
