Are you looking for a unique experience at a historic location in Venice? Talent and art combine perfectly at this classical music concert in San Vidal Church.
Description
Immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere in Venice and enjoy classical music in San Vidal Church, dating back to the 11th century with an interior adorned by masterful works by Venetian painters. This church was the burial place of the composer Baldasare Galuppi and features an exhibition of original violins, violas, and cellos.
As the performers take the stage, the music will transport you to the golden age of Venetian Baroque. The splendid acoustics ensure every note resonates off the centuries-old walls.
The Interpreti Veneziani orchestra performs Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, followed by a concert of violins, strings, and a harpsichord. The experience concludes with a piece by Marin Marais on the cello. The concert lasts an hour and a half.
Days of Operation
Vivaldi's The Four Seasons concert is performed on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, you will experience Around Vivaldi: an immersive experience, featuring tributes to various Baroque and Classical composers.
