Options for Day Trips
As you proceed with your booking, you can select one of two available experiences.
Murano & Burano Day Excursion (4.5 Hours)
We will convene at the designated spot in front of the pier at Palazzo Cornoldi, where our water taxi will set sail towards Murano, a renowned island within the Venetian lagoon. As we glide along the water, you'll be captivated by the stunning landscapes featuring islands and graceful palaces.
Upon arrival, we’ll head over to watch an authentic glass-blowing demonstration presented by a local artisan. This traditional craft offers a unique glimpse into the island’s heritage, truly an experience to marvel at.
Following the demonstration, we will wander the intricate streets of Murano, immersing ourselves in the rich history associated with glass-making and enjoying some picturesque avenues.
Our next stop will be the island of Burano, known for its colorful charm and ideal photo opportunities. Here, we may witness a lace-making demonstration, a traditional craft native to this delightful isle, subject to availability.
After a fulfilling 4.5-hour experience, we will return to Venice to conclude our adventure.
Murano, Burano, & Torcello Day Excursion (5.5 Hours)
This option follows the same route as the previous itinerary, but it allows you to spend additional time in Burano. After our exploration of this vibrant island, we’ll proceed to the adjacent island of Torcello.
Recognized as the elder sibling of the Venetian Lagoon, Torcello was once more populous than Venice itself during its peak. Its most notable site is the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, celebrated for its stunning Byzantine mosaics. Additionally, we’ll visit the legendary Devil’s Bridge, a railing-free walkway steeped in folklore. This island is an ideal complement to your excursion!
