Murano & Burano Self-Guided Tour

Enjoy a relaxing day afloat the beautiful Venetian Lagoon. We'll travel by boat to two of the most beautiful islands located here: Murano and Burano. On Murano, you'll watch a live demonstration of traditional glassblowing.

Boat to Murano & Burano

We meet at a central pier in Venice and board our tour boat. After a relaxing cruise across the lagoon with multilingual guides, we'll stop on Murano for about 45 minutes to visit a glass factory and watch a live demonstration.

Continuing to Burano, you will have approximately an hour and a half to explore its colorful houses and cultural heritage. This island is known for its crochet work and lace, including visits to museums like the lace museum and various craft shops.

We will reconvene at the Burano pier to return to Venice, concluding our activity at either the Santa Lucia Pier or the Riva degli Schiavioni Pier, depending on your preference.

Add a Trip to Torcello

Upgrade your excursion by adding a stop in Torcello, the oldest island in the Venetian Lagoon. After visiting Murano and Burano, you will explore Torcello's history and notable sites like Attila's Throne and the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. Here, you can also experience Veneto's cuisine with wine and cicchetti.

Pickup & Drop-off Points

When reserving, choose one of the following locations:

Santa Lucia pier: departure at 10 am (Murano and Burano) or 12 pm (Murano, Burano, and Torcello).Riva degli Schiavioni pier: departure at 10:30 am (Murano and Burano) or 12:30 pm (Murano, Burano, and Torcello).

An extra fee of 7.50 EUR is applied if you prefer to change the finishing location. The activity may sometimes conclude at the port of Tronchetto, with guidance provided to Piazzale Roma.

More Time in Murano & Burano

You can stay longer on these islands and return in the evening at no additional cost. Notify us at the start of the tour:

To stay longer in Murano, leave at 3:45 pm, returning from Burano at around 6:45 pm.To stay longer in Burano, leave at 5:30 pm, arriving in Venice around 6:15 pm.
