Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Campo San Gallo in Venice. From there, we'll walk to the pier where the water taxi will be ready to take us to Murano, a famous island in the Venetian Lagoon.
Murano is known for its glass production, with a history dating back to the 10th century, producing precious chandeliers, glasses, vases, and other glass objects.
During this private tour, your guide will take you through the ancient techniques of glass production. You'll visit a glass factory and watch a demonstration of how these art pieces are created.
You will also stroll around Murano as your guide discusses its history, visiting significant sights like the Church of San Donato, a notable example of Venetian architecture.
After the Murano tour, we'll return on the water taxi to Venice, concluding the tour at the departure point 3 hours after starting.
