Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Campo San Gallo in Venice. From there, we will walk to the pier where a water taxi will take us to Murano, a well-known island in the Venetian Lagoon.
Murano is famous for its glass production, with craftsmen creating refined glass items since the 10th century. Elegant chandeliers, glasses, vases, and other glassworks have contributed to Murano's global reputation.
During this private tour, your guide will lead you through the ancient techniques of glassmaking. You'll visit a glass factory and watch a demonstration of the creation of these art pieces.
Afterward, you will explore Murano while your guide shares its history. Significant sights include the Church of San Donato, a masterpiece of Venetian architecture.
Following the tour of Murano, we'll return to Venice by water taxi and conclude the tour at the departure point 3 hours after starting.
