Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet you at Campo San Gallo in Venice. From here, we will walk to the pier where the water taxi will take us to Murano, a renowned island in the Venetian Lagoon.
Murano is famous for its glass production dating back to the 10th century. The island's artisans create exquisite glass items such as chandeliers, glasses, and vases, contributing to its international reputation.
During this private tour, you will be guided through the ancient techniques of glassmaking, including a visit to a glass factory where you can watch a demonstration of how these art pieces are crafted.
After the factory visit, you'll explore Murano as your guide shares its history, highlighting key sights, including the Church of San Donato, a significant example of Venetian architecture.
Following the tour of Murano, we will return to Venice via water taxi and conclude the trip at the departure point 3 hours after we set off.
