At the indicated time, we will gather at the Church of St. Zacharias to begin our tour of three iconic temples in Venice.

We will visit the Church of St. Zacharias, a 15th-century site in the city's heart. Its façade features Gothic and Renaissance elements. Inside, we will see a renowned work by Giovanni Bellini, The Virgin and Child with Saints, at the main altar. A notable highlight is the partially submerged crypt containing the remains of ancient Venetian doges.

A short walk from San Zaccaria will take us to the Basilica of St. John and St. Paul, known as San Zanipolo, one of the largest churches in Venice. Built in the 13th century, its façade contrasts with the opulent interior, which houses the tombs of 25 doges, underscoring its significance as the pantheon of Venice's rulers.

The tour culminates at St. Mark's Basilica, the city's symbol. Its Byzantine-style architecture reflects Venice's connections with the Eastern world. Inside, we will view the impressive golden mosaics while learning about this temple's historical and cultural significance.
