Venice Food & Wine Tour Itinerary

At the appointed time we'll meet at the post office on Calle larga de l'Ascension. 20 minutes later we'll begin our tour of the main Venetian tapas bars.

This tour of Venice will take you to the best of the city's famous wine bars, known locally as bacari, where you'll enjoy excellent wine and be treated to delicious typical dishes: a type of local tapas called cicchetti. These Venetian snacks are small appetisers, usually a piece of bread topped with various ingredients such as fresh tomato, cured meats, and cheeses.

Explore the main streets of Venice's historic centre and discover its most famous bacari. You'll be served two exquisite cicchettis with incredible flavours, accompanied by a tasting of two glasses of Italian wine.
