Venice Food & Wine Tour Itinerary

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the post office on Calle larga de l'Ascension. Twenty minutes later, we'll begin our tour of the main Venetian tapas bars.

This tour of Venice will take you to the city's famous wine bars, known locally as bacari. You will enjoy excellent wine and be treated to delicious typical dishes: a type of local tapas called cicchetti. These snacks consist of small appetisers, typically a piece of bread topped with ingredients like fresh tomato, cured meats, and cheeses.

Explore the main streets of Venice's historic centre and discover its most famous bacari. You’ll be served two exquisite cicchettis with flavors and enjoy a tasting of two glasses of Italian wine.
