Verona Train Trip
At the scheduled time, we'll meet inside the Santa Lucia train station. The guide will provide your tickets and accompany you on the train to Verona.
Upon arrival, we'll begin our walking tour of Romeo and Juliet's city. The tour includes a visit to Piazza delle Erbe, the city's oldest square and home to the Forum. We will see Lamberti Tower and cross the Porta Borsari, part of the historical city walls.
During our exploration, we'll visit key monuments, including the Arena, a Roman amphitheatre known for hosting a renowned opera festival. You will learn about famous artists associated with the venue and figures like Romeo and Juliet. We will also visit the balcony of Juliet's House, a significant landmark in the tale.
After the guided tour, you will have the rest of the day free to explore further or enjoy an aperitif near the Ponte Pietra.
We will reconvene to catch the train back to Venice, with our trip concluding at 1:45 pm at the Santa Lucia train station.
