Attend a concert of Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons in the very place where the artist composed his works.
Description
The Santa Maria della Pietà church, also known as Vivaldi's Church, is closely linked to Antonio Vivaldi. Located on the Riva degli Schiavoni near the Doge's Palace, this church served as an orphanage where Vivaldi lived and worked for 40 years. He composed many significant works here.
The concert features a performance of The Four Seasons in this historic location. The church's acoustics and frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo enhance the experience. The concert lasts for 1 hour and 20 minutes, providing an opportunity to enjoy Vivaldi's melodies performed by a top Italian orchestra.
Days of Operation
The concert takes place only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, attendees will experience Around Vivaldi: An Immersive Experience, honoring Vivaldi and other composers.
