Description

The Santa Maria della Pietà church, also known as Vivaldi's Church, is a key location in Venice linked to Antonio Vivaldi. Located on the Riva degli Schiavoni near the Doge's Palace, this church served as an orphanage where Vivaldi lived and worked for 40 years, composing many of his famous pieces.

A group of musicians pays tribute to Vivaldi in the church with a concert of The Four Seasons. The church features acoustics and frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo that enhance the experience. The concert lasts for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Days of Operation

The concert occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, attendees can experience Around Vivaldi: An Immersive Experience, celebrating Vivaldi and other composers.

This activity also includes admission to the Museum of Music, located in the ancient church of San Maurizio, featuring a collection of 200 original instruments related to Venice's musical heritage and composers like Vivaldi, Amati, and Giovanni Battista Guadagnini.
