Boca del Rio Excursion & Mandinga Boat Ride

At 11:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Veracruz and drive to the historic center of Boca del Rio. This town on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico is known for its 17th-century pirate history. You will discover who the most feared pirate was during this period.

We'll start our Boca del Rio tour with a visit to the Pirate Museum, which features various artifacts including ship models, flags, hats, and garments from that era. The museum also includes legends related to secret treasures.

Next, we will visit the Municipal Money Museum, home to an important numismatic collection in Veracruz, showcasing displays of money from different periods of Mexico.

Our tour will include the Museum of Homeland and Liberty to further explore the history of Mexico. Afterwards, we will head to the fishing village of Mandinga, where you'll have one hour at leisure to enjoy local cuisine.

After lunch, we'll discuss local nature curiosities before embarking on a boat ride on the Mandinga Lagoon, surrounded by beautiful green landscapes and mangroves.

We will return to your hotel in Veracruz, arriving at 5 pm.
