Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the mangrove-lined lagoons during this tour from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and then catch the tram to Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will head to the pier where a boat will be waiting.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from Laguna Chica to Laguna Grande, passing through a mangrove forest, witnessing the area's fauna and flora.

During the trip, we will see various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, on the small islands emerging from the lagoons.

Upon completion of the boat ride, you will have around one hour of free time to taste the region's typical fish and seafood at local restaurants. The Mandinga oysters are notable and are often fished on-demand.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and take the tram back to Veracruz, concluding the trip at the original starting point.
