Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the mangrove-lined lagoons surrounding it with this tour from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and take the tram to Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will head to the pier where a boat will be waiting.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from Laguna Chica to Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves, where you can observe the area's diverse fauna and flora.

During the journey, we will see various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, on the small islands in the lagoons.

After the boat ride, you will have around one hour of free time to sample the region's typical fish and seafood in local restaurants. The Mandinga oysters are a must-try, often fished while you wait.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and take the tram back to Veracruz, concluding our trip at the original starting point.
