Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the mangrove-lined lagoons surrounding it on this trip from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and then catch the tram to Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will proceed to the pier where a boat will be ready for us.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from Laguna Chica to Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves where you will observe diverse fauna and flora.

Along the way, we will see various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, inhabiting the small islands in the lagoons.

After the boat ride, you will have around one hour of free time to taste the region's typical fish and seafood at local restaurants, including Mandinga oysters, which can sometimes be fished out while you wait.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and board the tram back to Veracruz, concluding the trip at the original starting point.
