Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the mangrove-lined lagoons surrounding it during this trip from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and take the tram to the village of Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will arrive at the pier where a boat will be ready for us.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from the Laguna Chica to the Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves, showcasing the area's diverse fauna and flora.

Along the way, we may see various bird species such as herons and cormorants inhabiting the small islands in the lagoons.

After the boat ride, you will have about one hour of free time to sample typical fish and seafood in local restaurants. The Mandinga oysters, often freshly caught while you wait, are highly recommended.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and board the tram back to Veracruz, completing the trip at the original starting point.
