Naolinco Franciscan Route Tour
Between 8 am and 8:20 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Veracruz, starting our two and a half hour journey through the Naolinco Mountain Range.
Along the route, we will stop to visit monuments such as the Fortress of Xalapa and other Franciscan Churches. A professional guide will share insights about the arrival of the Franciscan order in New Spain.
We will then proceed to the town of Naolinco for a guided tour of "the jewel of Veracruz." We will explore its streets and visit key locations like the House of Culture and the church of San Mateo.
After the guided tour, you will have one hour of free time for lunch (not included) at local restaurants, providing an opportunity to taste the region's gastronomy.
Next, we will visit the Naolinco Market to purchase handmade souvenirs.
The tour concludes with our return to your hotel in Veracruz, arriving around 6 pm.
