Orizaba & Coscomatepec Excursion

On the morning of the tour, hotel pick-up in Veracruz is included. We will visit two renowned Pueblos Mágicos of the region.

Our first destination is Orizaba, where we will visit the 19th-century Palacio de Hierro, the municipal government seat, and take the local cable car to Cerro del Borrego natural park. From an altitude of 1240 meters above sea level, we will enjoy exceptional views of this protected area.

Next, we will head to Coscomatepec, located in the Las Altas Montañas region. Highlights include the Church of San Juan Bautista, home to the Christ of the Agony carving, Constitution Park, and the colonial-style Municipal Palace.

We will also visit a typical bakery to learn about the region's famous bread and sweets. From various spots in town, we can enjoy views of the Citlaltépetl volcano. After the visit, there will be two hours of free time for lunch.

At the end of the day, we will return to Veracruz, arriving at your hotel between 7 and 7:20 pm.
