Orizaba & Coscomatepec Excursion

On the morning of the tour, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Veracruz to visit two famous Pueblos Mágicos of the region.

Our first stop will be in Orizaba, where you'll visit the 19th-century Palacio de Hierro and take the local cable car to Cerro del Borrego natural park. From an altitude of 1240 meters above sea level, enjoy exceptional views of this protected area full of misty forests.

Next, we’ll travel to Coscomatepec, in the Las Altas Montañas area. Here, you will see the Church of San Juan Bautista, which has a world-famous carving of the Christ of the Agony, Constitution Park, and the colonial-style Municipal Palace.

We will visit a typical bakery to learn about the famous bread and sweets of this area. From some parts of town, you can view the imposing Citlaltépetl volcano. After the visit, there will be two hours of free time for lunch.

At the end of this day trip, we will return to Veracruz, arriving at your hotel between 7 and 7:20 pm.
