Tour Details
We will meet at 12 pm at Plaza Acuario in Veracruz before taking transport to San Juan de Ulúa. Upon arrival at this small island adjacent to the port of Veracruz, we will begin a guided tour of this 500-year-old fortress.
As a prison, San Juan de Ulúa was notorious. You will learn about the conditions for prisoners and visit their cells to understand their reality.
The tour includes stories about legendary inmates, such as Chucho el Roto and the Mulatto of Córdoba, as well as their fascinating backgrounds.
We will also visit the Tower of San Pedro, where you can enjoy views of the coast and the port, providing an opportunity for souvenir photographs.
After the guided tour, we will transport you back to Plaza Acuario, with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes.
