Xalapa & Coatepec Day Trip

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Veracruz and drive north to the State of Veracruz's capital, Xalapa.

First, we'll visit the El Lencero Museum, a historical site associated with Hernán Cortés' soldiers and the residence of former president Antonio López de Santa Anna. The museum features furniture, personal belongings of the president, gardens, and coffee plantations.

Next, we'll explore the centre of Xalapa, including the Government Palace, Bishop Guízar and Valencia Cathedral, and University campus. We'll also visit the Xalapa Museum of Anthropology, which showcases significant artifacts from the Olmec, Totonaca, and Huasteca cultures.

After this historical journey, we'll proceed to Coatepec, known as Mexico's 'magical town' due to its coffee production. Here, you'll tour the Interactive Coffee Museum to learn about coffee and taste various types produced in Coatepec.

At 6:30 pm, we will return to your hotel in Veracruz, arriving around 8 pm.
