Xalapa, Xico and Coatepec Tour
The tour begins in Xalapa, the state capital, featuring a visit to the ex-hacienda El Lencero. Guests will explore large coffee plantations, gardens, and a lake, along with period furniture and items belonging to Antonio Lopez de Santana. Afterward, a panoramic tour of significant sites in the city includes the Government Palace, Cathedral, University Zone, Paseo de los Lagos, and Juarez Park.
Next, the tour proceeds to Xico, characterized by its traditional and legendary ambiance. Visitors will see the Parish Church of Maria Magdalena, notable for its Neoclassical façade, and the Patio de las Palomas with over 400 embroidered dresses related to festivities. The tour includes a sampling of the regional delicacy, mole xiqueño, and a visit to the Texolo Waterfall, along with coffee plantations.
