Pont du Gard Aqueduct Ticket

Your ticket grants access to one of the main Roman aqueducts in Southern France, located 30 minutes from Avignon and Nîmes. Explore the monument and its surroundings, which include a museum, cinema, and open-air exhibition.

Pont du Gard

This aqueduct, a well-preserved ancient structure, features a skip-the-line ticket that allows you to walk alongside it over the Gardon River. Built in the 1st century AD without modern tools, it functioned as an aqueduct until the 6th century and later as a toll and conventional road. It was restored in 2000.

Pont du Gard Museum

Located under the arches, the underground museum exhibits the engineering feats behind the aqueduct, constructed by 1,000 men over five years, weighing almost 50,000 tonnes. The exhibition includes virtual reconstructions, films, and informational panels.

Memories of the Garrigue

The adjacent open-air exhibition focuses on the history of Mediterranean agriculture, showcasing remains of the aqueduct.

Pont du Gard Cinema

Watch a documentary combining reality and fiction about the aqueduct in the cinema.
