Pont du Gard Aqueduct Ticket
Your ticket allows independent access to the aqueduct and its surrounding complex, including a museum, cinema, and open-air exhibition, located approximately 30 minutes from Avignon and Nîmes.
Pont du Gard
This well-preserved ancient aqueduct was built in the 1st century AD and functioned as an aqueduct until the 6th century. It later served as a toll road and conventional road. In 2000, it was restored to preserve its original state.
Pont du Gard Museum
The underground museum showcases the construction history of the aqueduct, built by 1,000 men over five years, weighing nearly 50,000 tonnes. It features virtual reconstructions, films, and panels on Roman engineering.
