Pont du Gard Aqueduct Ticket
Your ticket grants access to a notable Roman aqueduct in Southern France, located a half hour from Avignon and Nîmes. Enjoy an independent visit of the monument and its surrounding complex, which includes a museum, cinema, and open-air exhibition.
Pont du Gard
This aqueduct is among the best-preserved ancient infrastructures in Europe. With your skip-the-line ticket, you can walk alongside this stone monument over the Gardon River. Built in the 1st century AD, it functioned as both an aqueduct and a toll road in the Middle Ages. The bridge was restored in 2000 to preserve its original appearance.
Pont du Gard Museum
Located under the arches of the Pont du Gard, the underground museum showcases the construction history of the aqueduct, built by 1,000 men in 5 years, weighing nearly 50,000 tonnes. The exhibition features virtual reconstructions, films, and informational panels.
Memories of the Garrigue
Adjacent to the monument, the open-air exhibition focuses on Mediterranean agricultural history and includes remnants of the aqueduct.
Pont du Gard Cinema
Watch a documentary in the cinema that combines reality and fiction regarding the aqueduct.
