Visit one of the most famous Roman aqueducts in Southern France with our Pont du Gard Aqueduct Ticket. You'll have access to this World Heritage Site as well as its museum, cinema, and open-air exhibition.

Pont du Gard Aqueduct Ticket

Your ticket will provide access to the main Roman aqueduct in Southern France, located a half hour from Avignon and Nîmes. You can independently visit the monument and explore its complex, which includes a museum, cinema, and open-air exhibition.

Pont du Gard

This Roman aqueduct is one of the best-preserved ancient infrastructures in Europe. With your skip-the-line ticket, you can walk along the path next to this monument over the Gardon River. Constructed in the 1st century AD, it was used as an aqueduct until the 6th century and later served as a toll road and conventional road until the 20th century. The bridge was restored in 2000 to preserve its original appearance.

Pont du Gard Museum

Underneath the arches, you'll find the underground museum featuring an exhibition on the aqueduct's construction, completed in 5 years by 1,000 men, weighing almost 50,000 tonnes. The exhibition includes virtual reconstructions, films, and panels highlighting Roman engineering and architecture.

Memories of the Garrigue

Next to the Pont du Gard, the open-air exhibition focuses on Mediterranean agriculture history and displays remains of the aqueduct.

Pont du Gard Cinema

The cinema offers a documentary about the aqueduct combining reality and fiction.

Light as Space Exhibition

From April 21 to November 5, 2023, explore the exhibition by Japanese artist Yasuhiro Chida, highlighting how light and natural elements challenge our awareness of space. Open daily from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm, except Monday mornings, with scheduled entrances every 30 minutes.
