Description

Located in the Ile de France region, the Palace of Versailles was declared a World Heritage Site in 1979. Originally a hunting lodge for Louis XIII, it was transformed by King Louis XIV into a palace.

With this skip-the-line entrance, you can visit various areas of the complex:

Palace of Versailles

Known as Château de Versailles, it has 2300 rooms over 63154 square meters. Notable areas include the Gallery of Battles, Great Royal Apartments, and Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed.

Your ticket includes access to temporary exhibitions. A specific time of visit must be chosen for entry.

Carriage Gallery

In Grande Écurie, view an extensive collection of carriages from French royalty including those of Marie Antoinette.

Sculptures & Mouldings Gallery

Located in the Petit Écurie, this room displays copies of ancient Greek and Roman statues.

Versailles Gardens

The gardens feature ornamental fountains and include a fountain show of the Great Musical Waters scheduled between April and October.

Palace Park

The park extends approximately 800 hectares and includes the Grand Canal and Pièce d'eau des Suisses.

Trianon

Visit the Petit and Grand Trianon, and explore the Queen's Village.

Tuesday to Sunday: 9 am to 6:30 pm (5:30 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).Last admission at 6 pm (5 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).

Carriage Gallery

Saturdays and Sundays: 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm (5:30 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).

Sculptures & Mouldings Gallery

Tuesday to Sunday from May 14 to July 13.Open from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Versailles Gardens

Monday to Sunday: 8 am to 8:30 pm (6 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).

Palace Park

Monday to Sunday: 7 am to 8:30 pm (8 am to 6 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).

Trianon

Tuesday to Sunday: 12 pm to 6:30 pm (5:30 pm from Nov 1 to Mar 31).
