Let yourself be enchanted by the lavish elegance of the world-famous Palace of Versailles and delve into its history on this guided tour of its majestic rooms.

Palace of Versailles Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time in front of the equestrian statue of Louis XIV, located in Place d'Armes.

Enjoy a 1.5-hour guided tour of the Palace of Versailles and discover the secrets of this jewel of classical French Baroque architecture, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. First, we'll enter the Royal Apartments, lavishly decorated to the refined tastes of Louis XIV. Tapestries, paintings, and delicate ornaments will captivate you.

We'll then continue to the sumptuous Hall of Mirrors. This gallery is characterized by its intricate lamps and sculptures, impressive frescoes by Charles Le Brun, and the defining mirrors. Our guide will recount the history of the Treaty of Versailles, signed here in 1919.

After the guided tour, you will receive tickets to visit on your own the Grand Trianon and the Petit Trianon, home to Marie Antoinette and her model village, the Queen's Hamlet. You can also explore the gardens of the Palace of Versailles and their ornate fountains at your leisure.
