Your Chillon Castle ticket includes an English brochure for exploring the 36 rooms at your leisure. Some rooms feature short projections of 6 minutes detailing the history of this Swiss fortification.

A highlight of your visit will be the dungeons of Chillon Castle, reminiscent of 13th-century Gothic architecture. Peter II of Savoy constructed a prison here in 1290.

During your visit, you will discover various curiosities, such as the castle's construction on an oval limestone rock extending into Lake Geneva and legends of Chillon Castle, including one linked to a famous poem by Lord Byron.

April to September: from 9 am to 7 pm (last access at 6 pm)November to February (closed on January 1 and December 25): from 10 am to 5 pm (last access at 4 pm)March and October: from 9:30 am to 6 pm (last access at 5 pm)

Reduced rate admission

When reserving, you can choose a reduced-rate ticket applicable to students, apprentices, seniors over 60, disability insurance beneficiaries, and Swiss military personnel in uniform. Proof of eligibility is required.
