Chillon Castle is one of the most spectacular fortresses in Switzerland. With this ticket, you'll be able to visit the different rooms of this bastion located on the shores of Lake Geneva at your leisure.

Why visit Chillon Castle?

Located in Veytaux on the shores of Lake Geneva, Chillon Castle is one of the main tourist attractions of the Swiss canton of Vaud. With your ticket, you will receive an English brochure to explore the 36 rooms of the castle at your own pace, including short projections of 6 minutes that narrate its history. Key features include the dungeons of Chillon Castle, built by Peter II of Savoy in 1290, and the castle's location on an oval limestone rock that extends into Lake Geneva, along with several legends linked to Lord Byron's poem about the fortress.

The Chillon Castle is open daily at the following times:

April to September: from 9 am to 7 pm (last access at 6 pm)November to February (closed on January 1 and December 25): from 10 am to 5 pm (last access at 4 pm)March and October: from 9:30 am to 6 pm (last access at 5 pm)

Reduced rate admission

When you make your reservation, you can opt for a reduced-rate ticket. This ticket is applicable to students, apprentices, seniors over 60, disability insurance beneficiaries, and Swiss military personnel in uniform, all of whom must provide proof of eligibility.
