You will be able to explore the ship's kitchen, operating theatre, chapel, and engine room. The vessel was used for various functions from its first voyage in 1955 until its last diplomatic trip to Brazil in 1973, including assisting cod fishermen on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland and Greenland, serving as a hospital ship, a tugboat, and as an icebreaker.
