We will meet at the Tourist Information Center to start the tour opposite the BC Legislature Building, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. After a brief introduction, the walking tour will begin in the Inner Harbour, notable for its strategic location. We will also share other interesting facts about the area.
In one of the picturesque areas of the port, we will view the facade of the Fairmount Empress, the most famous hotel in Victoria. The tour will explain its significance. Next, we will visit the Boomtown neighborhood, highlighting points of interest including Bastion Square.
After its historical insights, we will explore the Chinatown district, featuring avenues like Fan Tan and Dragon Alley, reminiscent of the Far East.
The walking tour will last 2.5 hours, concluding back at the initial meeting point.
