On this free walking tour in Victoria, we will explore iconic places in the capital of British Columbia, located on the far south of Vancouver Island.

Tour Details

We will meet at the Tourist Information Center at the specified time to commence this tour opposite the BC Legislature Building. Following a brief introduction to the city, we will start our tour at the Inner Harbour, a strategically located port at the south of Vancouver Island. Additional historical facts will be provided during this segment.

Next, we will observe the iconic facade of the Fairmount Empress, Victoria's most renowned hotel. We will discuss its fame and history and then proceed to the Boomtown neighborhood to explore important sites, including Bastion Square.

Afterward, we will visit the Chinatown district, featuring avenues like Fan Tan and Dragon Alley that reflect Far Eastern influences.

The tour concludes after 3 hours, returning to the initial meeting point.
