On this free walking tour in Victoria, we'll explore iconic places in the capital of British Columbia on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.

Description

The tour starts at the designated time opposite the BC Legislature Building. We begin with a brief introduction to the city, followed by a walking tour of the Inner Harbour, noted for its strategic location. We will share additional historical insights about this area.

In the port's picturesque area, we'll view the iconic facade of the Fairmount Empress, Victoria's most famous hotel, and discuss its significance. Next, we will proceed to the Boomtown neighborhood to visit major points of interest, including Bastion Square.

After exploring its history, we will move to the Chinatown district, featuring avenues like Fan Tan and Dragon Alley, reminiscent of the Far East.

This 2.5-hour walking tour concludes with a return to the initial meeting point.
