On this free walking tour in Victoria, we will explore the iconic sites of the capital of British Columbia, located on Vancouver Island.

Description

The tour will begin at the designated time, meeting opposite the BC Legislature Building, the legislative assembly of British Columbia. We will start with an introduction to the city and then proceed to the Inner Harbour, emphasizing its strategic location on the south of Vancouver Island. We will provide additional details about this port.

We will visit the Fairmount Empress, the most renowned hotel in Victoria, and explain its significance. The tour continues into the Boomtown neighborhood, highlighting main sites such as Bastion Square.

Next, we will explore Chinatown, featuring avenues like Fan Tan and Dragon Alley, reminiscent of the Far East.

After a 2.5-hour walking tour, we will return to the original meeting point.
