What Can I Expect?
On the day of the activity, we'll meet in the centre of Vienna and board a comfortable bus.
Dürnstein Castle
We will first stop at the medieval ruins of Dürnstein Castle, known for the legend of Richard of Lionheart. You'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the grounds.
Krems Wine Region
Next, we will visit Krems, a wine region within the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, known for its historical charm and scenic beauty.
Melk City
Our last stop is Melk, where you can see various architectural styles, including the baroque Melk Abbey. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the abbey at your leisure.
Boat trip on the Danube
From mid-April to the end of October, a boat ride on the Danube River will be included in the tour. During the rest of the year, a guided tour of Melk Abbey will replace this activity.
