What Can I Expect?
We will meet in central Vienna to board a comfortable bus and start the adventure.
Dürnstein Castle
Our first stop will be the medieval ruins of Dürnstein Castle, where Richard of Lionheart was held captive. You will have 1 hour of free time to explore the grounds.
Krems Wine Region
The next stop is Krems, located in the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley. This wine region offers historical charm and scenic beauty.
Melk City
The final stop is Melk, known for its architectural styles and the grand baroque Benedictine monastery, Melk Abbey. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the abbey.
Boat trip on the Danube
During the summer season, from mid-April to the end of October, a boat ride on the Danube River is included. Outside this period, a guided tour of Melk Abbey will replace the boat ride.
