Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After pickup from your hotel, we will head to Salzburg, located on Austria's border with Germany. Along the way, we will travel through the Salzkammergut region, known for its mountains and lakes. We will make a brief stop at Lake Mondsee for photos.

Upon arrival in Salzburg, we will enjoy a tour of the city's key monuments, including the Cathedral, the Festival Hall, St. Peter's Church and cemetery, the Salzburg Residence, and Mozart's birthplace. You will explore locations from The Sound of Music, including the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and the Mirabell Palace, offering views of Hohensalzburg Fortress.

After the guided tour, you will have approximately 2.5 hours of free time for lunch, shopping, and exploration. You may visit the Salzburg Fortress during this time; however, the entrance fee is not included.

After a day of sights and stories, we will return to Vienna, completing the tour at the Vienna State Opera after 13 hours.
