Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After being picked up from your hotel, the tour will head to Salzburg, located on Austria's border with Germany.

During the journey, you will see the scenic Salzkammergut region, including Fuschlsee and Wolfgangsee. Once in Salzburg, there will be free time for refreshments and an optional visit to the Hohensalzburg Fortress (tickets not included).

The guided tour covers significant landmarks such as the 17th-century Baroque Cathedral, Festival Square, St Peter's Abbey, Salzburg Residenz, and Mozart's birthplace. You will also explore locations from The Sound of Music, including the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, which offers views of Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of the largest preserved medieval fortresses in Europe.

After a day of sightseeing, you will return to Vienna, with a drop-off at the Vienna State Opera around 8:15 pm.
