Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After pickup from your hotel, we will travel to Salzburg, situated near the Austrian-German border.

During the journey, admire the scenery of the Salzkammergut region, including Fuschlsee and Wolfgangsee, notable for their beauty and historical significance to Emperor Franz Joseph.

Upon arrival in Salzburg, you will have free time to eat and visit Hohensalzburg Fortress (tickets not included).

Next, enjoy a guided tour of key monuments such as the Baroque Cathedral, Festival Square, St Peter's Abbey, Salzburg Residenz, and Mozart's birthplace.

You will also explore sites from "The Sound of Music," including the Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, offering great views of Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of Europe's best-preserved Medieval fortresses.

After a day of exploration, return to Vienna, with drop-off at the Vienna State Opera around 8:15 pm.
