Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

Following hotel pickup, the journey to Salzburg begins, located near Austria's border with Germany. You will travel through the scenic Salzkammergut region, where you can admire the green mountains and peaceful lakes, including Fuschlsee and Wolfgangsee.

Upon arrival in Salzburg, you will have free time for a meal and the option to visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress (tickets not included).

The guided tour will cover the city's significant landmarks, such as the 17th-century Baroque Cathedral, Festival Square, St Peter's Abbey, the Salzburg Residenz, and Mozart's birthplace. You will also explore locations from The Sound of Music, including the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, which offers views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, a well-preserved medieval fortress.

After a day filled with sights and stories, you will return to Vienna, with a drop-off at the Vienna State Opera around 8:15 pm.
