Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After being picked up from your hotel, we'll head to Salzburg, located on Austria's border with Germany. Along the way, we'll travel through the landscapes of the Salzkammergut region, known for its mountains and large lakes, including a brief stop at Lake Mondsee for photo opportunities.

Upon arrival in Salzburg, you'll have free time to enjoy a meal and visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress if you choose (tickets not included). Then, we'll begin the guided tour of the city's key monuments including the Cathedral, the Festival Hall, St. Peter's Church and its cemetery, the Salzburg Residence, and Mozart's birthplace.

Exploring locations from The Sound of Music, you will also visit the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, offering the best views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of Europe's largest and best-preserved Medieval fortresses.

After an enriching day, you'll return to Vienna, where you will be dropped off at the Vienna State Opera around 8:15 pm.
