Hallstatt Day Trip

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Vienna for our day trip. The drive offers stunning views of the Salzkammergut mountain district.

After 3 hours and 30 minutes, we will arrive at Hallstatt, a picturesque town in the Austrian Alps known for its 700 years of history. Accompanied by our English-speaking guide, we will explore the cobbled streets and observe the architectural details of the town's structures.

You will have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to have lunch and explore further.

If travelling in summer, we will conclude our visit with a boat trip on the lake. For trips at other times of the year, we will visit the Bone House in St. Michael's Chapel, featuring over 600 painted skulls from the 12th century.

After the tour, we will return to Vienna by bus, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.

Pickup

Upon booking, you will select a pickup time and hotel in central Vienna from a drop-down menu. If your accommodation is not listed, we will pick you up at 7 am in front of the Vienna State Opera.
