Hallstatt Day Trip

Discover the small town Hallstatt with this full-day trip from Vienna.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Vienna for an exciting day trip, taking in views of the Salzkammergut mountain district.

After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, we'll arrive at Hallstatt, located in the Austrian Alps. Accompanied by our English-speaking guide, we'll stroll through the cobbled streets, witnessing 700 years of history and observing the town's architectural details.

You will have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time for lunch and further exploration.

In summer, we’ll conclude our visit with a boat trip on the lake. In other seasons, we will visit the Bone House in St. Michael's Chapel, known for its collection of more than 600 artistically painted skulls dating back to the 12th century.

After the day trip, we'll return to Vienna, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.

Pickup

Upon booking, you'll select from a drop-down menu with various pickup times and hotels in central Vienna. If your hotel isn't listed, we'll meet you at 7 am in front of the Vienna State Opera.
