Discover the small town Hallstatt with this full-day trip from Vienna.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Vienna. After a 3.5-hour drive through the Salzkammergut mountain district, we'll arrive at Hallstatt. Here, with our English-speaking guide, we'll explore the cobbled streets and observe the architectural details of the town’s houses and church. You will have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time for lunch and further exploration.

If you're traveling in summer, we will conclude our visit with a boat trip on the lake. During other seasons, we will visit the Bone House in St. Michael's Chapel, which houses a collection of more than 600 artistically painted skulls from the 12th century.

After the day trip, we will return to Vienna, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.

Upon booking, you will select from various pickup times and hotels in central Vienna. If your option is not listed, pickup may not be available.

For bookings made less than 24 hours prior to the tour, or if your accommodation is not listed, we will arrange pickup at a nearby location at the Vienna State Opera.
