Hallstatt Day Trip

Discover the small town Hallstatt, one of the most enchanting locations in Austria, with this full-day trip from Vienna. The views will take your breath away!

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Vienna. Our drive includes views of the Salzkammergut mountain district.

After 3.5 hours, we'll arrive at Hallstatt, a town in the Austrian Alps. Accompanied by our English-speaking guide, we'll stroll through the cobbled streets and explore the architectural details of the town's houses and church, which reflect 700 years of turbulent history.

You'll have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time for lunch and to further explore the town.

If travelling in summer, we'll conclude with a boat trip on the lake. For travel at other times of the year, we'll visit the Bone House in St. Michael's Chapel, featuring a collection of more than 600 artistically painted skulls, dating back to the 12th century.

We will return to Vienna by bus, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.

If booking less than 24 hours before the tour or your accommodation is not listed, pickup will be at a location near the Vienna State Opera.
