Each year, from November 19 to January 4, the splendid Schönbrunn Palace becomes the venue for a Christmas concert and market, a highlight for anyone visiting Vienna within this period!

The Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra, one of the most prestigious orchestras globally, will perform enchanting pieces by illustrious composers such as Mozart and Strauss. The evening will also feature vocal renditions by artists from the Schönbrunn Orangery.

This extraordinary concert will take place in the palace hall, renowned for hosting the famous musical duel between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri back in 1786. The Orangery, once the greenhouse of Schönbrunn Palace, offers an enchanting backdrop for this unforgettable experience!

Ticket Categories

There are three categories of tickets: A, B, and C. Category A offers the most advantageous seats near the stage, while Category C comprises seats situated further away. You can view the seating arrangement at this link. We highly encourage you to book well in advance, particularly if you aim to secure prime seating. Note that within each category, seats do not have assigned numbers; therefore, arriving early is advisable.

Christmas Market at Schönbrunn

Your booking will also include vouchers redeemable at the food stalls within the Christmas market, located in the parade courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace. These vouchers cover a drink and a dish of your choice.
