Vienna is synonymous with music, and the Schönbrunn Palace stands out as a true representation of the city's essence. Therefore, attending a classical music concert at the Schönbrunn is an absolute must-do when exploring Vienna!
Description
The Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra is one of the most famous in the world. Join them as they interpret works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.
The program changes daily, featuring selections such as "The Mariage of Figaro," "The Magic Flute," "Don Giovanni," "Die Fledermaus," "The Blue Danube," and the "Radetzky March."
The concert lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, with a 15-minute intermission.
The setting
You will enjoy interpretations of Mozart's and Strauss's music by the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra. The concert takes place in the Orangery, where Mozart and Salieri once competed.
A magical light show will accompany your evening, with changing colours and designs. During the intermission, you can also visit the Orangery's garden.
Occasionally, the show is held in the Great Gallery or the more intimate White and Gold hall.
