All aboard the Christmas Express! Experience the magic of Vienna at Christmas on this festive train ride past dazzling lights, Christmas markets, and historic landmarks.

Activity Details

We'll start our adventure at Maria-Theresien-Platz, home to one of Vienna’s Christmas markets. This ride takes us through the city, where we can enjoy enchanting Christmas lights while listening to an audio guide explaining the sights.

One key highlight is the City Hall Christmas Market, featuring over 150 wooden stalls with seasonal treats and crafts. We will also pass the charming Spittelberg Christmas Market, known for its cozy, village-like atmosphere.

The train will continue past the 'Art Advent' market at Karlsplatz, located in front of the Baroque Karlskirche Church, showcasing local artisans' work. We will also see the grand Vienna State Opera and the illuminated Parliament building, enhancing the festive ambiance.

Lastly, we'll view the majestic façade of the Hofburg Palace, which hosts annual Christmas concerts.

After a total of 45 minutes, our train ride will conclude back at the starting point.
