Description

The Vienna Sightseeing bus operates four different routes featuring recorded commentaries in English. The main stops include:

Red Line: starts at stop 2 (History of Art Museum) with stops at the State Opera, Town Hall, University, Danube Pier, Heroes' Square, and St. Stephen's Cathedral.Blue Line: begins at stop 1 (State Opera) and travels to the Prater amusement park, Danube Park, Danube Tower, and Kunsthaus.Yellow Line: starts at stop 1 (State Opera) and connects to Schönbrunn and Belvedere palaces.Green Line (available from June 14 to October 6, 2024): starts at stop 47 (Votiva Church) and goes to Grinzing and Kahlenberg hill. This line is only available for 48 and 72 hour tickets.

Most buses feature two floors and a convertible roof for better views.

How Does it Work?

The ticket is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours from the first use. Passengers can get on and off the buses an unlimited number of times during this period. A start date is needed for booking, but tickets can be used within one year of the indicated date. A voucher will be emailed, which must be presented on the first bus.

Timetable and Frequency

Buses operate daily from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, with frequency between 10 and 20 minutes. Starting October 7, 2024, last bus departures are:
