Vienna Woods Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet in the center of Vienna. We'll then leave the Austrian capital to explore the Vienna Woods. These forested highlands have been designated a Biosphere Reserve and extend to the foothills of the Alps.

The first stop will be the Heiligenkreuz Abbey, a Cistercian monastery founded in 1133, making it the oldest continuously occupied monastery of its kind in the world. Visit its Medieval cloisters, which house the tombs of the last members of the Babenberg dynasty.

The route will then continue to Lake Hinterbrühl, where we'll visit its grotto. This lake grotto has been a tourist attraction for years due to its unique layout. It is also the largest underground lake in Europe.

Finally, the tour will conclude back at the meeting point approximately 5 hours later.
