Weltmuseum Ticket
On this visit, you'll learn about ancient civilizations through over 250,000 pieces displayed at the Weltmuseum in Vienna. This ticket grants access to unique exhibits from Asia, Africa, Oceania, and America.
One notable collection is dedicated to the Aztec Empire, showcasing sculptures and utensils that reveal information about the capital of Tenochtitlan. Additionally, you can see objects from Brazilian tribes that illustrate their connections with the House of Habsburg.
Furthermore, the exhibition features Polynesian discoveries from navigator and cartographer James Cook, including a headdress allegedly worn by Moctezuma Xocoyotzin, surrounded by many legends about its colorful quetzal feathers set in gold.
Opening Times
The Weltmuseum opens on Tuesday from 10 am to 9 pm and from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays.
