Get ready for an exciting day trip! We'll meet at Wien Mitte shopping center and hop on a train to explore the picturesque Vienna Woods in Lower Austria, famous for its wine production.

First, we'll arrive in Baden bei Wien, a charming spa town loved by Beethoven, and embark on a 9-kilometer hike through stunning vineyards.

Our hike will lead us to Gumpoldskirchen, another important wine-producing town, where you'll have free time for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we'll delve into the rich history of winemaking by visiting a local winery, learning about the influence of ancient monastic orders.

When the adventure concludes, we'll hop back on the train and bid farewell after an unforgettable eight-and-a-half hours of exploration.

Changes to the itinerary

If you go on the tour between November and March, the walking tour through the vineyards will be only 20 minutes long. The activity will last 7.5 hours instead of 8.5 but will include two wine tastings instead of one.
