How to Get to Ons Island
From the Vigo port, take a ferry to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The island features incredible landscapes and has been inhabited since prehistoric times, with villages known for their cuisine and traditional way of life.
After a crossing of just over an hour, you can explore the island's hiking trails, visit the island's lighthouse, and enjoy restaurants offering traditional recipes and beaches that attract many visitors.
Travel Permit
As a protected area, Ons Island has a daily visitor limit. You must have authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to visit. During the high season (15th May to 15th September and at Easter), a personal permit from Xunta de Galicia is required, which we will send you via email. For the rest of the year, the guide will bring the permit.
If any member of your group cannot attend, inform us at least 15 days in advance so that their name can be removed from the Xunta de Galicia's list.
Guided Tour of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May (excluding the period from the Friday before Holy Week to Easter Sunday), your ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.
Return Ferry Schedule
The return ferry departs at 7:15 pm.
Your ticket allows you to leave and return on the same day. For returns on a different day, please contact us.
