How to Get to Ons Island

From Vigo port, take a ferry to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The island features landscapes and villages known for their support of traditional ways and food. After a crossing of just over an hour, enjoy a day of exploration including hiking trails, the largest lighthouse in Spain, and local cuisine amid crystal-clear waters and beaches.

Travel Permit

Ons Island has a daily visitor limit requiring authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. During the high season (15th May to 15th September and Easter), a permit is required to access the island. This will be emailed to you. Outside of this period, permits will be provided by the guide on the tour day. If a member of your group cannot attend, inform us at least 15 days in advance for their name to be removed from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May (excluding Holy Week), your ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.

Return Ferry Schedule

The return ferry departs at 7:15 pm. Your ticket allows for same-day returns. For a different return day, please contact us.
