How to Get to Ons Island

Take a ferry from Vigo port to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The island features prehistoric villages known for their food and traditional lifestyles. After a crossing of a little over an hour, you will have all day to explore hiking trails around mountains and caves, visit the island's lighthouse, and experience local cuisine and clear waters.

Travel Permit

Ons Island has a daily visitor limit. To visit, you must obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. During high season (15th May to 15th September and Easter), a personal permit is required and will be sent via email. Outside high season, the guide will provide it. If a member of your group cannot attend, inform us at least 15 days in advance for the removal from the permit list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May (excluding Holy Week), your ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.

Return Ferry Schedule

The return ferry departs at 7:15 pm.

With your ticket, you can leave and return the same day. For a return on another day, please contact us.
