How to Get to Ons Island

From the Vigo port, take a ferry to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The island is populated and known for its food and traditional way of life. Following a crossing of a little over an hour, you'll have all day to explore hiking trails, visit the island's lighthouse, and enjoy local cuisine and pristine beaches.

Travel Permit

Ons Island is a protected area with a daily visitor limit. Authorization from the Xunta de Galicia is required for access. During the high season (15th May to 15th September and at Easter), a permit must be obtained in advance; it will be sent via email. In the rest of the year, the guide will provide it on the tour day. Inform us at least 15 days in advance if a group member cannot attend.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May (excluding the Friday before Holy Week to Easter Sunday), your ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.

Return Ferry Schedule

The return ferry departs at 7:15 pm. Your ticket allows same-day return. For a different return date, please contact us.
