How to Get to Ons Island

From the Vigo port, take a ferry to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The island features incredible landscapes and has been populated since prehistoric times. The villages offer traditional food and a unique way of life.

After a crossing of a little over an hour, you will have the entire day to explore the island's hiking trails around mountains and caves. Highlights include the island's lighthouse and local restaurants offering traditional recipes, alongside beautiful beaches.

Travel Permit

As a protected area, Ons Island has a daily visitor limit. You must obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to visit. During the high season (15th May to 15th September and Easter), you will need a personal permit that we will send via email. Outside this period, permits will be provided by the guide on the tour day.

If any member of your group cannot attend, please notify us at least 15 days in advance to remove their name from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From 1st October to 14th May (excluding dates around Easter), the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.

Return Ferry Schedule

The return ferry departs at 6 pm.

With your ticket, you can leave and return on the same day. For a return on another day, please contact us.
