How to Get to Ons Island
From the Vigo port, take a ferry to Ons Island, part of the Atlantic Islands Natural Park. The crossing lasts just over an hour, allowing for a full day of exploration of the island’s hiking trails. Visit the lighthouse, enjoy traditional food, and relax on the clear-water beaches.
Travel Permit
Ons Island has a daily visitor limit due to its protected status. To visit, you must obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. During the high season (15th May to 15th September and Easter), you need a permit from the Xunta, which we will email to you. In the off-season, the guide will bring the permit. If a group member cannot attend, notify us at least 15 days in advance to remove their name from the list.
Guided Tour of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May (excluding the period from the Friday before Holy Week to Easter Sunday), your ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.
Return Ferry Schedule
The return ferry departs at 7:15 pm.
With your ticket, you can leave and return on the same day. For a different return date, please contact us.
