Discover the beautiful marine life of the so-called Island of the Sun with this fantastic snorkeling activity in Santa Maria.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the dive centre inside the Hotel Colombo. There, we'll have a brief safety talk, acquire our snorkeling equipment, and board the minibus to the port. Get ready to dive into the crystal waters of Santa Maria.

We will then board our boat and head out into the Atlantic to find the ideal snorkeling spot. After a briefing by our staff, we'll take a first dive of 30 to 45 minutes to spot tuna, swordfish, and even turtles.

Santa Maria offers great marine life for snorkeling, including wrasses, triggerfish, Atlantic damselfish, octopus, cuttlefish, sea urchins, and starfish. The waters' clarity and species diversity make snorkeling a unique experience.

Throughout the activity, it’s important to respect the marine environment and follow safe diving practices.

After snorkeling, we'll return to the boat for a small snack while enjoying the view. After a half-hour rest, we'll do our second dive of the day, lasting 30-45 minutes, where we may see stingrays, corals, and sponges.

After this last snorkeling experience, we'll return to the port and take you back to the original starting point, concluding the activity after 6 hours.
