Immerse yourself in the unique volcanic landscapes of São Miguel while touring the Furnas Valley, visiting an enchanting botanical garden, and relaxing in the hot springs.

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the port in Vila Franca do Campo, ready to embark on a tour of some of the must-see natural places on the island of São Miguel.

First, we'll drive through the Furnas Valley to see the fumaroles and geysers of boiling water that create mist over the volcanic landscapes. Reaching a high point, we'll see the crater lake of Furnas and the fumes rising from the water, as the lake is located above the volcano.

We'll then make our way down to the village to enjoy a traditional lunch: a stew cooked in an underground oven, a local specialty. After lunch, you'll have an hour of free time to explore the narrow streets of Furnas.

Next, we'll enter the Terra Nostra Garden, a botanical garden with a selection of native and imported flowers. It is home to one of the largest collections of camellias in the world, with over 600 varieties.

Additionally, inside the garden, we'll have the opportunity to bathe in the volcanic hot springs and enjoy the relaxing mineral-rich waters.

At 5:30 pm, the tour will end back at the original starting point.
