At the indicated time we'll meet at the Vila Franca do Campo Marina to start a kayak tour to the islet of the same name. After a brief introduction, we'll take the kayak and paddles and set out on the waters of São Miguel. Following the guide's kayak, we'll paddle around the front of this island of volcanic origin.

As we paddle, the guide will share information about the formation of this islet of the Azores archipelago, which is the crater of a submerged volcano and is also known as the 'Anel da Princesa' or 'Princess Ring'.

During our 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) kayak route, we'll stop for you to dive into the Atlantic waters and snorkel. You can explore the seabed and discover many species that inhabit the area. Finally, we'll conclude this kayaking experience by returning to the starting point after 3 hours.
