Scuba Diving in São Miguel

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Vila Franca do Campo Marina. We'll put on the diving equipment and board a boat to start the activity. Are you ready to explore the underwater beauty of the south of São Miguel?

When making your reservation, indicate if you prefer to do this activity with 1 or 2 dives. The duration will range between three and four hours, depending on the option chosen.

We'll sail along the south coast of the island of São Miguel to reach the islet of Vila Franca do Campo. The exact dive locations will depend on tide conditions.

Time to dive! Accompanied by a guide, you'll discover the sea wildlife of the Azores, including bream, huge groupers, and moray eels. The volcanic soil provides remarkable underwater scenery, and you'll also see remains of shipwrecks and ancient anchors dating back to the 18th century.

Finally, we'll return by boat to the starting point, concluding this diving experience.

Necessary Documentation

To participate, you must have the international Open Water certificate or a similar document. Upon arrival, fill out a medical form. If you have a serious medical condition, present a medical certificate.
