Scuba Diving Introduction in São Miguel

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo to begin the diving introduction on the south coast of São Miguel. You will be accompanied by your instructor throughout the experience.

The initial part of the activity focuses on the theory of scuba diving, covering the elements of the diving equipment and their functions. Additionally, we will review different diving techniques and underwater communication signals.

After the theoretical session, we will board a boat and prepare with the necessary equipment. We will then proceed to the nature reserve on the islet of Vila Franca do Campo for the practical diving session. During the dive, participants will observe varied marine vegetation and wildlife, alongside sunken canyons from the 16th century. This experience is designed to be memorable.

The diving adventure concludes after three hours, with a return to the departure port by boat.
