Scuba Diving Introduction in São Miguel

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo to start the diving introduction on the south coast of São Miguel. You will be accompanied by your instructor at all times.

The first part of the activity will cover the theory of scuba diving. We'll explore the diving equipment and its functions, as well as the different diving techniques and underwater communication signals. You'll gain essential knowledge quickly.

Following the theory session, we'll board a boat and equip ourselves with the necessary gear. We will then head to the nature reserve on the islet of Vila Franca do Campo to dive and apply what we've learned. During the dive, you'll admire the marine vegetation and wildlife, along with sunken canyons from the 16th century. It promises to be an unforgettable experience.

After three hours, we'll conclude this diving adventure by returning to the departure port by boat.
