Scuba Diving Introduction in São Miguel

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo to start the diving introduction on the south coast of São Miguel. You'll be accompanied by an instructor at all times.

The first part of the activity will cover the theory of scuba diving. We'll examine the diving equipment and its functions, along with diving techniques and underwater communication signals.

After the theory session, we'll get on a boat and equip ourselves with all necessary gear. We'll head to the nature reserve on the islet of Vila Franca do Campo and dive to practice our learned skills. During the dive, you will see varied marine vegetation and wildlife, along with sunken canyons from the 16th century.

After three hours, we'll conclude this diving adventure by returning to the departure port by boat.
