Burmester Winery Visit & Tasting

We'll meet at the designated time at the entrance of the Burmester winery, renowned in Vila Nova de Gaia. The guided tour will cover the production process of Port and Douro DOC wines.

An expert guide will share the history of Henry Burmester, the founder associated with the wines’ export to Europe. The tour will highlight the key qualities of wines produced at Burmester since the 18th century.

The visit lasts a total of 30 minutes, excluding the tasting experience time.

When booking, select from three tasting options:

Tasting of 2 different wines: at the end of the visit, enjoy a tasting of two wines.Tasting of 3 wines and chocolate: include a tasting of three wines with chocolate during the visit.Tasting of 3 premium wines, chocolate and cheese: conclude your visit with three superior quality wines, chocolate, and cheese.

Children under 18 years old

Children aged 6 to 17 will receive orange juice; no food (cheese or chocolate) is included. Children under 6 years old will not be charged for drinks during the free visit.
