If you're up for a different spin on visiting the most gorgeous city in northern Portugal, check out our amphibious bus tour of Porto. It'll be double the fun!

Porto Amphibian Bus Tour

Kick off the amphibious bus tour of Porto at Avenida da República, in front of Jardim do Morro. Board the unique DUKW vehicle, used during World War II, and explore the city on both land and water.

Initially, we'll embark on the overland tour, passing by the Serra do Pilar Monastery. Next, we'll cross the Duero River over the Luis I Bridge to enter the historic center of Porto. In the old town, we'll see the Cathedral and the Torre dos Clérigos.

Continuing the tour, we will pass by the Gardens of the Crystal Palace before heading into the water. The amphibious bus will cross the Douro until we reach the western bank. Here, we will resurface to continue the land tour next to the Convent of Santo Antonio del Valle de la Piedad.

The route progresses near the Arrábida Bridge and the Afurada area. After passing this fishing village at the mouth of the Douro, we'll cross the river again with the amphibious bus, followed by more overland exploration toward the Centro de Congresos Alfândega do Porto.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes, the tour concludes as we return to the meeting point.
