Cruise Details

Departing from the Vila Nova de Gaia dock, this cruise on a traditional Rabelo boat, historically used to transport barrels from Douro vineyards to Gaia wineries, gives you the opportunity to admire the six main bridges crossing the Douro: Dom Luís I Bridge, Infante Dom Henrique Bridge, María Pía Bridge, São João Railway Bridge, Arrábida Bridge, and Freixo Bridge.

The boat ride provides views of the towns along the river and includes audioguides in English detailing main points of interest in Porto and Gaia. From the Rabelo, you can see some of Porto's most famous vineyards, located in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The six bridges cruise concludes back at the Vila Nova de Gaia dock.

Boat Schedule

From 1st April to 24th October, boats depart from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm.From 1st November to 31st March, boats leave from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.A minimum number of participants is required. If this is not reached for a departure time, your reservation will automatically transfer to the next available slot.
