Cruise Details

The cruise departs from the Vila Nova de Gaia dock, navigating the Douro river on a Rabelo boat, historically used to transport barrels from vineyards to Gaia wineries. Passengers will see the six main bridges that connect Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia: Dom Luís I Bridge, Infante Dom Henrique Bridge, María Pía Bridge, São João Railway Bridge, Arrábida Bridge, and Freixo Bridge. The boat ride offers excellent views of the towns along the river, complemented by audioguides in English that provide information about key points of interest and Porto's renowned vineyards located in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The cruise concludes at the Vila Nova de Gaia dock.

Boat Schedule

From 1st April to 24th October: boats depart from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.From 1st November to 31st March: boats depart from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.A minimum number of participants is required. If this number is not met for a specific departure time, your reservation will be moved to the next available slot.
