Enjoy the famous Six Bridges of Porto cruise from Vila Nova de Gaia. You'll take a cruise on a traditional Portuguese Rabelo boat and enjoy the best views of the towns of the Douro.
Cruise Details
Leaving from the Vila Nova de Gaia dock, the cruise will navigate along the Douro river on a traditional Rabelo boat, historically used for transporting barrels from vineyards to the Gaia wineries.
During the ride, we will see the six main bridges that connect Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia: Dom Luís I Bridge, Infante Dom Henrique bridge, María Pía bridge, São João railway bridge, Arrábida Bridge, and Freixo Bridge.
As we pass under the bridges, we will enjoy views of the river towns. Audioguides in English provide information about key points of interest in Porto and Gaia. Views of Porto's most famous vineyards can be seen from the Rabelo.
The six bridges cruise concludes back at the Vila Nova de Gaia dock.
