Handcraft Workshop in Ráquira
We will arrange for your pickup from your accommodation in Villa de Leyva at a time that suits you, and begin our journey to Ráquira. Within a 40-minute drive, we will reach our destination to participate in an immersive handicraft workshop.
Upon arrival, you will see the iconic clay statue that represents this charming Colombian town and explore a local workshop to delve into Ráquira's rich pottery-making heritage. You'll have the chance to observe the traditional methods of clay preparation and learn how potters skillfully operate the wheel to create stunning ceramic artworks.
After an informative session, it's your turn to express your creativity as you craft your own piece under the expert guidance of a seasoned artisan.
Once the workshop concludes, we will return to Villa de Leyva. You can expect to arrive back at your hotel after an engaging three hours of hands-on experience.
