Handcraft Workshop in Ráquira
At the time of your choice, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Villa de Leyva and travel to Ráquira. In 40 minutes, we will arrive at the workshop location.
We will see the famous clay statue of this Colombian town and visit a local business to learn about Ráquira's tradition of pottery making. We will witness the clay making process and how the potter's wheel is used to shape ceramic figures.
After an hour of learning, you will have the opportunity to create your own piece with the guidance of a master craftsman.
Finally, we’ll return to Villa de Leyva. You will arrive back at your hotel after three hours of activities.
