At the chosen time, we'll meet at Carrera 9 in Villa de Leyva. From there, we'll walk to the outskirts of the municipality to begin a hiking route through Las Cárcavas, characterized by yellow and brown rock formations.

For three hours, we'll traverse semi-desert and eroded landscapes that contrast with the surrounding forests while observing various formations along the Canal de los Españoles, an old road historically used by mules carrying agricultural products.

We'll arrive at the viewpoint of Las Cárcavas, located at 1600 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy views of the rugged landscape. Some rocks exhibit crater shapes resembling lunar landscapes. The guide will provide explanations and share local legends during our break for photos.

We will conclude the experience upon returning to the meeting point.
