Wool Workshop & Valle Escondido Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel at a time of your choice and head to a location just outside of Villa de Leyva, specifically to the El Recreo farm, for a wool workshop.

During this 1-hour session, a masterclass by specialised farmers will cover the importance of wool and its significance in the region. The process for achieving high-quality wool will be explained, and participants will have the opportunity to touch and manipulate the raw unprocessed wool.

After the workshop, we’ll enjoy traditional snacks from the region before participating in a game of Tejo. The rules are simple, so you'll quickly learn how to play.

To conclude the experience, we'll explore the stunning landscapes of Valle Escondido, including the lush forests and scenic waters of the River Cané. While there, we’ll admire the architecture of an old 18th-century mill that was significant to the region's prosperity.

After 4 hours of experience, we'll return you to your hotel in Villa de Leyva.
