On this 8-day tour through Nicaragua, we will explore colonial towns, volcanoes, and natural parks.

8-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Managua

Upon arrival at Managua Airport, we will take you to your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore Nicaragua's capital or relax.

Day 2: Managua – León

After breakfast, we will tour Managua's historic center, including the Plaza de la Revolución and Laguna de Tiscapa viewpoint. Then, we'll drive 2 hours to the colonial city of León, enjoy lunch, and explore the city's architecture and local market.

Day 3: León

You will have the morning free, followed by an afternoon adventure: sandboarding on Cerro Negro Volcano. We will hike for 1 hour and sandboard for 10 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 37 mph.

Day 4: León – Granada

We will travel to Granada after breakfast. The guided tour includes visits to churches, the central plaza, and a climb at La Merced Church. We will enjoy a traditional lunch and then a boat tour of Las Isletas, concluding with a sunset view.

Day 5: Granada

You have three options: relax at the hotel, hike in the Mombacho Volcano Cloud Forest, or hike Masaya Volcano at sunset.

Day 6: Granada – San Juan de Oriente – Mirador de Catarina – Granada

We will visit San Juan de Oriente to learn pottery. Then, we will enjoy views at Mirador de Catarina and return to Granada for a Nicaraguan cooking class.

Day 7: Granada – Laguna de Apoyo – Granada

We will spend the day at Laguna de Apoyo enjoying various water activities.

Day 8: Laguna de Apoyo – Managua

After breakfast, we will return to Managua and drop you at the airport, ensuring you have time for your flight.
