Description
We'll start our tour to León at 9 am, picking you up from your hotel in Managua. The bus ride lasts approximately an hour and a half, leading us to the base of the Momotombo volcano, where we will explore the ruins of León Viejo, founded by Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba.
Next, we will head to present-day León, beginning with the Cathedral, an important architectural site where Rubén Darío is buried. After visiting the cathedral, we will go to the House-Museum, which offers insights into Darío's childhood and life.
Our exploration includes a visit to the local market, where you will have 1 hour of free time to experience León's traditional products. Following this, we will visit the Art Center of the Ortiz-Gurdián Foundation to learn about local artistic styles. Afterward, we will return to Managua.
We will drop you off at your hotel by 5 pm, concluding our tour.
