Somoto Canyon Excursion

Description

We'll start the adventure by picking you up at your hotel in Managua at 6 am. Prepare for an excursion to Somoto Canyon.

During the minibus ride, there will be a quick stop for a breakfast option. After approximately 4 hours, we'll arrive at the canyon, where a knowledgeable guide will provide the necessary equipment for our adventure.

The journey begins with a 1.2-mile (2 km) hike through knee-deep water, followed by a boat ride to the entrance of the Somoto Canyon.

Once there, you can choose from 3 options: viewpoint, swim in the Coco River, or ride on a giant floatie for 1,312 ft (400 meters) down the canyon. Regardless of your choice, it will be an enjoyable experience.

By 2 pm, we'll conclude the adventure with a traditional lunch featuring rice, beans, salad, and chicken.

We will then return to your hotel in Managua, arriving around 7 pm.
